Emerson Drums The band started off as many others do. In April 2004 a group of friends got together to have some fun and try to express themselves through music. Having finally found a place to rehearse, the band was still missing one final member, a singer. Joe Tanti ( radio D J) introduced the band to Daryl Ebejer (former singer of Purple Haze) and the band chose KARTRIDGE as its’ name. A couple of gigs and some line-up changes summed up the band’s first year. One change was made in mid 2005 when another former Purple Haze member, guitarist Stephen Borg, joined KARTRIDGE.
Stephen left the band in the summer of 2007 was replaced by Paul Anthony Barbara .KARTRIDGE’s current line-up is Daryl on vocals. Simon on bass, Paul on guitar and Emerson on drums & vocals
The different influences of each member of the band are all incorporated into one thus making KARTRIDGE’s sound varied and interesting. The band’s current set includes mainly modern rock covers and also original songs.
The band has played successfully @ B.J’s , Signals, The Blues Room and Simon’s Pub amongst others.
Hi all ! we' be playing @ B.J's,paceville, during the annual music marathon. we're playing on the 19th April.we'll start @ 02.00hrs on Sunday morning so if you're out on Saturday night make sure to pop over to B.J's to support the many many bands taking part in this charity marathon and also give your donation at the door.
Other news is that we're finally going into the studio to record our first track,Wild Crazy Nights at the end of April. We're looking forward to that! The track will then be distibuted to all local radio stations ,who will hopefully blast it out on the airwaves!!we'll keep everyone posted on this matter.
Prosit Guys, really love your song, it's not of those Cheap commercial songs we hear so much on radio today including those of local bands. Your song is very melodic,i love it :O) there is only one thing that i may criticise, the guitar intro seems a bit empty,it does not give a good introduction to how really great is the song, but that is my opinion:O) Prosit ta vera and keep it up!!
